Green bean lamb stew
Lamb with fresh green beans, delicious, easy and reliable
Ingredients
- 800-900g lamb goulash or stewing meat from the shoulder
- 1kg small, fresh green beans
- 600g pealed potatoes
- Some fresh savory
- 1 garlic clove
- 3-4 shallots
- 1 chilli
- Some fresh parsley
- Some butter
- Spices
Preparation
- Add the lamb meat to the lamb stock once it has boiled with chopped shallots and some savory and cook slowly for 25-30 minutes. Test the meat to see whether it is cooked.
- About 15-20 minutes before the meat is soft (and the meat is only done once it is very soft), add the equally-sized beans and cubed potatoes.
- Add salt and pepper and some chopped garlic or garlic salt and taste.
- Add some grated potato to bond the dish or add potato purée as an alternative.
