Scalloped Bread Rolls

With ground pork, tomatoes and cheese - A quick and rustic snack for a break!

Ingredients

  • 4 bread rolls or French baguette
  • 250 g minced pork
  • 6 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 50-60 g pizza cheese (I prefer Dutch cheese but Cheddar works fine as well)
  • Some paprika spice

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven up to 180° Celsius top heat.
  2. Blend the ground pork and the minced onions.
  3. Some grinded pepper.
  4. Cut the bread rolls into halves.
  5. Cover them with a good deal of ground pork.
  6. Put them onto a baking sheet.
  7. Place slices of tomatoes on the ground meat.
  8. Spice the grated cheese with Hungarian paprika.
  9. Distribute it on the tomatoes.
  10. Keep the prepared bread rolls for 5-8 minutes by top heat in the oven.
  11. Let the cheese appetisingly melt.
 

Serving suggestion

  • To be served straight out of the ofen
